Thanks, Bel!
The plot looks very interesting! So Sandy and Billy Bob are antagonists haha it sounds amazing to me!
I want it to be more a drama than a comedy, but anyway it is going to be great!

It looks like the filming in Puerto Rico is over. www.primerahora.com/entretenimiento/camara-ready/nota/adiossandrabullock-1049755/As far as I understood via google translation, Sandy has left for LA, and she didn't take Louis with her for filming in Puerto Rico. And she didn't do anything but filming during her stay. I guess she'll be spending the Thanksgiving with her family like past few years. If the filming is on schedule, it should be taking December off, then back to film again in January.

Hi, lets not take it as a 100% fact, but IMDB says that "Our Brand is crisis" is already in postproduction.

Hi, lets not take it as a 100% fact, but IMDB says that "Our Brand is crisis" is already in postproduction. Yeah, that's right. I'd think it's just a mistake as the director said that they would shoot in Oct, Nov and Jan after a month break in Dec. IMDb may have thought it was wrapped out. I'm waiting for the release date. May it be 2015!!

As we don't have any news... "Our Brand Is Crisis" made it on Playlist's The 100 Most Anticipated Films of 2015, at No. 39. Let's hope it'll get released this year. "Minions" didn't make it on this list. It's kinda amusing how it has become so usual that they mention "Oscar" when Sandy is in a movie now. blogs.indiewire.com/theplaylist/the-100-most-anticipated-films-of-2015-20150105?page=739. “Our Brand Is Crisis” Director: David Gordon Green (“George Washington,” “Pineapple Express”) Cast: Sandra Bullock, Anthony Mackie, Billy Bob Thornton, Zoe Kazan, Scoot McNairy Synopsis: A Bolivian politician hires a U.S. political consultancy firm to help him win the presidential election. What You Need To Know: Green’s career has always been a tricky one to pin down, but after a trio of well-received back-to-basics indies with “Prince Avalanche,” “Joe” and “Manglehorn,” is he about to embark on his strangest adventure yet by making the next “Argo”? Based on a 2005 documentary and a one-time George Clooney directorial project (the star’s still involved in a producing capacity), this is a comedy-drama about U.S. interventionism in South America, penned by “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy” and “Frank” writer Peter Straughan. Green’s an unlikely but fascinating pick to helm, and he’s got lots to work with, most notably a killer cast led by Bullock in her first post-”Gravity” role. Our Brand Is Oscars, perhaps? Release Date: Nothing firm yet, but given that this seems likely to be one of WB’s big awards hopes, look for it in the fall.

It is my No. 1 most anticipated film haha
Yeah, I know what you mean about the Oscar thing. I hope the movie and Sandy get Oscar buzz and I would love to see Sandy nominated again. A lot of people are predicting her for next year Oscars. Of course it's to soon but it's nice to see they consider her!

I have no time but I want to say two things: First: Dominic Flores, who is on the film, said "I believe it will come out winter 2015 in time for Oscar buzz " Here: Second: There was a screening at LA last Monday and someone posted a review on AwardsWatch, it has a bit of spoiler, but here it is: I really, really liked the movie and appreciated that I didn't have to be terribly into politics to follow the story and how seamless the transitions from comedy to serious drama were throughout. Tonally, this movie reminded me of Argo in how a somewhat lighter approach was taken to tell a serious story (though I would say this movie leans a slightly more comedic than Argo.) I thought the characters were all very well developed and the actors all fit for their particular parts well (of the supporting cast I would say the actor playing the Bolivian president stood out. Billy Bob and Anthony Mackie as well). I especially liked the playful banter between Sandra and Billy Bob's characters as the put on their opposing campaigns. It was also good to once again see Sandra in a part that treated her like a movie star through and through, one that is centered around her almost entirely and makes such great use of her charisma, while at the same time giving her dramatic material to work with as well. The movie is basically about her character coming out of retirement to help re-elect a president that over time, she realizes may not be the best option for the country. Over time she has to decide whether or not she should go through with the campaign and beat the only person she's ever lost an election to, or do the right thing (which would help the president and his son). The script was very smart (I expected to be confused by the political talk but I thought they did a surprisingly good job of making the story accessible for anyone without spelling every little thing out to the audience) and the movie maintained a quick pace until the 3rd act where the film becomes a lot more serious. One problem I had is that the ending was touching but also very abrupt and left some questions about the presidents illness and how if would effect his campaign unanswered. Some others in the focus group mentioned having some issues with the ending as well and I suspect that will edited a bit before the official release. As far as the Oscars go, I think Sandra could get in and the script as well. Billy Bob Thornton sounded like a potential candidate for a supporting actor nomination based on the synopsis, but unfortunately I don't think he has enough to work with to merit any awards consideration. The movie does feature a great ensemble of popular actors so a SAG ensemble nominations should be in play as well. I am sure this movie will get good reviews and I think it will be a box office hit as well, I'm just not sure if it will be positioned as an awards player or more of a commercial play. I would say the former would be smart based on the cast and Clooney producing, but think it could go either way. PS: sorry I have no time to put a summary without the spoilers.

Oh this is a great find and thank you so much for posting!! I've been so busy with work and haven't really searched well.
I'm glad to read that review too. Even though the film will be edited for the official release, it sounds like Sandy did a great job again.

It appears that they had a test screening this week and I could find only one tweet about the reaction on twitter: sam @burritoprophet · screening reactions from our brand is crisis say sandra is nom worthy omg best actress this year is a bloodbath for the ages It still doesn't have the release date, and I wonder if WB will announce anything at the upcoming Comic Con. They'll have a presentation on July 11. www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/comic-con-preview-film-lineup-801895

Another review:
"The screenplay is great. The banter between BBT and Sandra is wonderful to watch, but I don't know that it would translate to anything for BBT. Sandra gives a worthy performance, but awards groups, I think, would need to be in the mood for something lighter in order to go with this. (Not saying they wouldn't be, but there is usually just one spot available for something like that) The entire cast is great as an ensemble. Wonderful and fun to watch, great pacing, great performances- I think it will definitely be in the handful of films that will be considered for awards, but I do not get the feeling that any component of it is "undeniable" awards-wise to where it can be "inked-in" in any category at this time. I would pencil it in though ;-) B.A. Adapted Screenplay and maybe S.A. for Joaquim de Almeida. Nothing else jumped out to me in terms of being statue-worthy. (I feel it is a 5 or less in terms of noms). But for me, it is my favorite movie I have seen so far this year. I think it could be a crowd-pleaser, Argo-style, and sell a decent chunk of tickets. I saw it for free and will never HAVE to pay money to see it-but I WANT to! Whenever it comes out, I will be there opening day, throwing my money at it because it deserves it in my opinion."

Thanks for that review. Awards type or not,I'm glad that at least Sandy seems to be good and the movie is decent.
Another tweet: LORI BASS @kittycave Sandra really pulled out the emotion. And Eddie...a touching character. Lot of unexpected co-stars....all good
