With much less theatres, it's still holding very well. UK opening was strong and the foreign gross is now more than US gross. www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?page=weekly&id=gravity.htmUS Week 6 (Nov 8 -14, 2013) Gross: $11,561,122 (-30.6%) Rank #6 Theatre Count: 2,720 (-304) Average: $4,250 Budget: $100M (speculation between $80M - $120M) US Gross as of Nov 14, 2013: $234,275,614 (49.1%)Foreign as of Nov 10, 2013: $243,300,000 (50.9%)Worldwide Gross as of Nov 14, 2013: $477,575,614International Top 5:South Korea $24,508,006 (as of Nov 10) France $22,994,715 (as of Nov3) Russia - CIS $20,428,351 (as of Nov 3) Australia $17,086,878 (as of Nov 10) Mexico $16,530,043 (as of Nov 10) Attachments:

It's really holding good inspite of getting less theatres. The average per theatre is actually slightly more than last week. www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?page=weekly&id=gravity.htmUS Week 7 (Nov 15 - 21, 2013) Gross: $7,921,990 (-31.5%) Rank #6 Theatre Count:1,845 (-875) Average: $4,294 Budget: $100M (speculation between $80M - $120M) US Gross as of Nov 21, 2013: $242,197,604 (45.2%)Foreign as of Nov 20, 2013: $293,600,000 (54.8%)Worldwide Gross as of Nov 21, 2013: $535,797,604International Top 5:France $32,923,363 (as of Nov 17) South Korea $26,715,688 (as of Nov 17) United Kingdom $23,648,969 (as of Nov 17) Russia - CIS $20,903,676 (as of Nov 10) Australia $18,021,876 (as of Nov 17) Attachments:

I'm sorry for not having updated the box office. I've been just so busy with work as well as Sandy's Japan Premiere, all these awards things... But I'll try to summerize at least briefly soon.
Okay, if you look at "Gravity"'s weekly gross for past few weeks, and the gap between the gross of TBS and Gravity, I think Gravity will eventually go over TBS's unadjusted gross, but for adjusted gross, maybe not. The gross that TBS earned was so impressive considering it was simply from the regular ticket price, not from 3D or IMAX. So, I think even though Gravity eventually goes over TBS, TBS still be Sandy's #1 in terms of the number of audience.

Yeah, I know, adjusted gross is a totally different thing!
Gravity is 10 million of surpass the adjusted gross of TBS! But as you said, the IMAX and 3D affect!
